Conservative MEP selection North West
Sajjad Karim has been elected again by the conservative party to stand as the prospective MEP for the North West of England.
I am sure he is a lovely chap and works hard, but he has held the post for 15 years and in all that time I have never heard of him, nor met him and that is what’s wrong with politics.
The parties just assume that we will vote for their party because we always have, without a thought because we don’t want the other guy in…..
Well not anymore. The parties need to get these people out to meet the electorate they represent, after all the extremely generous pay and conditions must be worth it FOR THEM.

Grandchildren
I have had the most delightful time gardening with my 3 grandchildren this evening, whose ages range from 7 to 11.
They trimed branches, picked up leaves and turned the soil whilst making it huge fun, and it reminded me that they are my reward for being a good mum
Treasure your grandchildren as to them you will always be beautiful, you will always be fun, you will always be full of hugs and kisses, with a fridge full of chocolate and above all you will be their best friend……

Game of Thrones
Wow, wow and wow and this is the first episode of the last series. I am officially hooked and Iain Glen (Jonah Mormont) is my favourite character. He is a tortured soul but the best baddy for me is Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister (she is wonderfully evil). This final chapter promises everything we have come to expect from this awesome journey.
Legal aid for terrorists!
In my opinion they should stay where they are and rot, but we have to be seen to be above their barbaric ways and lets hope that the law comes down on the right side, and Shamima Begum and the others with her in the camp at Syria are refused legal, financial and humanitarian aid…..as lets face it, if she was on the winning side would she be so merciful? I think not.
